Sleep Disorders Clinic
at Acıbadem Healthcare
Group deals with all
aspects of sleep
disorders. The center
has both an outpatient
service and a sleep
laboratory containing
two beds. In the lab,
each patient can be
examined by a digital
polysomnographer and a
synchronized video
recorder.
Some of the patients are
referred by ENT
outpatient clinics but
self-referred patients
are also evaluated.
In the Clinic, all
conditions causing
hypersomnia and insomnia
can be evaluated,
distinctive diagnose of
parasomny and epilepsy
can be done, and
epileptic attacks
happening during sleep
can be synchronized by
video-EEG monitorization
system.
Some patients are also
consulted by ENT,
cardiology, psychiatry,
pneumology and
endocrinology
specialists when
necessary.
