Visitation and Accompaniment Policy

  • If our physician has prohibited visitors and/or companions for the patient’s health, please make sure to comply with this restriction.

  • Please do not bring children under the age of 7 to inpatient floors or children under the age of 16 to intensive care units as visitors.

  • For the health of our patients, please ensure that no more than two visitors are present in the room at the same time and that each visit is limited to 10 minutes.

  • To visit a patient in an intensive care unit, please contact the patient’s nurse using the telephone at the unit entrance. You may be admitted if there is no medical contraindication and the patient’s condition and the intensive care environment are suitable. Please follow the instructions provided regarding the visiting rules when entering the unit.

  • People with fever, a runny nose, cough, diarrhea, vomiting, infectious dermatitis, or any communicable disease are not accepted as visitors.

  • Visitor restrictions may be introduced during a community-wide outbreak.

  • Please wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer provided in the area before and after your visit.

  • When visiting patients in isolation, please follow the recommendations of our healthcare professionals.

  • Please do not touch other patients or patient-care supplies belonging to anyone other than the patient you are visiting.

  • Please respect the privacy of patients and their relatives during your visit.

  • Please avoid behaviors such as crying or shouting that may reflect your emotional state and adversely affect our patients.

  • To protect our patients’ health, please do not bring or accept food and beverages from outside the hospital.

  • Potted plants are not permitted in patient rooms because of the risk of infection. Potted plants delivered for a patient will be given to the patient upon discharge.

  • Please do not use mobile phones in areas where medical equipment is present.

  • Please do not use water heaters or similar devices in patient rooms, as they may cause technical problems.

  • Please do not speak loudly.

  • Pets are not permitted in our hospitals; please do not bring them.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in our hospitals except in designated areas.
