Located in Sofia and having JCI accreditation, Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center was opened in 2012.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center also serves as teaching hospital for Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridksi and Medical University in Varna.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center started cooperating with all departments of Acıbadem Hospitals located in five countries in 2016, after City Clinic Group and Tokuda Group were acquired by Acıbadem Healthcare Group. 

Indoor Area of 4, 000 m²

The hospital is located at the southern region of Sofia highway and the hospital building that covers an area of 4000 m2 has capacity of 64 beds and 5 operating theatres, including 2 reserved for cardiac surgeries. Other two operation theatres are used for general purpose and vascular surgeries.

There are 20 intensive care beds in intensive care units, including 14 beds for cardiovascular surgery ICU and 6 for coronary care.

Two catheterization laboratories are present in Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center.  Invasive (minimally invasive) procedures are performed in the hospital.

3 Tesla MRI, EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasonography), Digital Angiography (DSA) and Whole Body MRI are among the devices installed in Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center.

Medical Departments

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center offers diagnosis and treatment services in departments of cardiology and vascular medicine (Clinic Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Invasive Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Pacemaker), Vascular Diseases, Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Medical Imaging, Neurology and Anesthesiology and Intensive Care.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center has more than 350 personnel, including 120 physicians, to serve patients. 

Multidisciplinary cooperation is adopted by all departments of the hospital. Cardiac and Vascular Surgery teams of the hospital consist of endovascular specialists, invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, angiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, nurse practitioners, cardiac nurses and pharmacists who work with a multidisciplinary approach.

Hospital also provides outpatient services in departments of Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pulmonary Medicine and Urology.
