Gait analysis is one of the important evaluation stages in assessment of muscles, joints and skeletal system.

Observational gait analysis has long been used, but it was deemed insufficient to get a deep insight about complex gait parameters and to plan stages of diagnosis and treatment.

Age-dependent variable gait parameters especially in children and changes in muscles and skeleton secondary to height increases paved the way for the development of observational gait analysis.

Computer-assisted 3D gait analysis helps objective identification of gait disorders, show action and contraction time of muscles, demonstrate range-of-motion of joints and plan treatment stages.

Complex and unique gait patterns of individuals became explainable in detail. Therefore, it is possible to manage diagnosis and treatment stages of gait disorders and determine patient- and problem-specific approaches.

Computer-assisted Three-Dimensional Gait Analysis Device is used to detect and determine gait disorders, especially those related to neurologic, orthopedic and rheumatologic problems.

Medical Devices in Gait Analysis

Gait disorders are diagnosed and treatment is planned using eight infra-red cameras, two HD video cameras, strength platforms and software equipment in gait analysis services provided by Acıbadem.

Evaluations are made with Computer -Assisted 3D Gait Analysis device to create a personalized gait pattern map.
