The areas of focus are autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder, pathologies of adolescence, behavioral disorders, eating disorders, identity development disorders, depression, suicide, substance abuse, psychiatric diseases manifested by physical signs, anxiety disorders and bipolar disorder.

Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry not only deals with psychiatric diseases, but also offers supportive therapies for divorce, mourning, coping with chronic diseases, problems of adolescence and exam anxiety.

Moreover, other areas of focus are social care and counseling, education counseling for schools, efforts to raise public awareness, psychometric analyses and preventive psychiatric services for general population.
