Versa HD, a high-energy linear accelerator for radiotherapy, offers precise tumor targeting with 1mm precision, safeguarding healthy tissue. Its 6D table and Align RT system ensure accurate positioning, especially beneficial for small volume or near-risk organ tumors. It treats various cancers across the body with exceptional precision, including lung, brain, prostate, breast, head and neck cancers, among others.

Features

The Versa HD device is a high-energy linear accelerator device used in radiotherapy and has different electron and photon energies. The Versa HD device, which can be used in the treatment of all types of cancer requiring radiotherapy, can irradiate tumor targets with a precision of 1 mm , thus effectively protecting the surrounding healthy tissues by irradiating with a precision very close to the shape of the tumor.

The Versa HD device enables precise irradiation of the tumor with its 6-dimensional table feature. In addition, thanks to the Surface Tracking System (Align RT System) in the device, the patient is ensured to lie in the correct position with 1mm precision. With the Align RT system, breathing control can be monitored in breast patients and the dose to the heart can be minimized. Thus, thanks to the 6-dimensional table and Align RT systems, the tumor target is precisely irradiated while preserving healthy tissue in the patient lying in the correct position.

Areas of Use In the treatment of all tumors that require radiotherapy (in any part of the body), the Versa HD device offers the possibility of irradiation with a precision of 1 mm.

It is especially preferred in the treatment of small volume tumors in the head and throughout the body or tumors adjacent to risky organs.

How to Apply?

Like all other linear accelerator devices used in radiotherapy, all treatments in the Versa HD device are applied under computer control.

The patient lies on the moving table of the device. The device synchronizes the dose and imaging process by continuously rotating around the patient. If the patient moves during irradiation with the Align RT system, the irradiation is automatically stopped and the irradiation is resumed after the position accuracy is restored.
