Acıbadem Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hospital increased the indoor area of 5 thousand square meters by three times to 17600 m2 to meet the increasing demands of patients in 1998. The hospital has capacity of 138 beds and 23 intensive care beds, while the smart building system is controlled from 6 thousand 500 points to serve patients.

Medical Departments

High-risk cardiac surgeries and adult and pediatric orthopedic surgeries, such as knee, shoulder, spine and hip operations, are performed in Acıbadem Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hospital.

Warnings

Flower: No flower is allowed to patient rooms and floors in order to avoid risk of infection. Flowers are first accepted by our personnel and they are handed to you at discharge.

Visiting Hours: Visiting hours are 10.00 to 22.00 every day. Please do not accept children younger than 6 years of age considering potential health risks.

Accompaniment: The patients can only have one companion. The visitors who are in the patients’ rooms after 22.00 are accepted as companion.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas of our hospital.

STANDARD ROOM Acıbadem Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hospital has 76 standard rooms designed to meet all needs of patients and family members. Mini fridge, television, internet, personal safe, and newspaper services are available in our spacious patient rooms which meet all the basic needs of patients and family members. The rooms ensure comfort of both patients and family members throughout their stay. The rooms include a single-seater sofa, an information brochure to inform patients and companions about risk of fall, and metal grab bars and emergency pull cords in toilets and bathrooms.

TYPE A SUITE Type A Suites of Acıbadem Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hospital consist of two separate parts to meet various needs of patients and companions. In the specifically designed Type A Suite rooms, a separate room is available for the visitors. The rooms can meet many different needs ranging from television and Internet to mini-bar and personal safe. There are only 3 Type A suites, where all hygienic conditions are ultimately prioritized and a chair exists for family members to rest comfortably. The nurse call button next to the patient’s bed, metal grab bars and emergency pull cords in toilets and bathrooms help prevention of falls

TYPE B SUITE There are 3 Type B suites specially designed to meet a wide range of needs of patients and companions in Acıbadem Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hospital along with Type A suites. Special designs of these rooms attract attentions. In addition to basic needs, Type B suites are equipped with a chair for companions and family members to rest. A nurse call button nearby the patient bed, a brochure for risk of fall in toilets and bathrooms and grab bar and pull cord are available in the rooms. Numerous services are provided at these rooms such as minibar, television, private safe, newspaper service, etc.
