Acıbadem Atakent Hospital

Atakent Hospital was put into service as “University Hospital” of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University on January 2nd, 2014. Offering diagnosis and treatment services in medical departments, the hospital has international JCI Academic Medical Center Hospitals Accreditation.

Atakent Hospital provides healthcare services in all medical departments and accepts coverage of Turkish Social Security Institute and numerous health insurance provides in those departments.

Indoor Area of 60, 000 m²

The hospital located at Küçükçekmece-Halkalı region has an indoor area of approximately 60.000 m2.

Having a capacity of 262 beds, Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Atakent Hospital has 12 beds at cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit, 28 beds in general intensive care, 5 beds in coronary intensive care unit, unit and 15 beds at pediatric intensive care unit – all designed as independent units at the hospital.

30 beds are present in reanimation room, which is used by a number of units including angiography, while chemotherapy area is equipped with 32 beds.

Medical Departments

Cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, nuclear medicine, oncology, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, neurosurgery, internal medicine and radiology departments are also operated at Acıbadem Atakent Hospital that admits patient to all departments of medicine. Healthcare services also cover fields of Invasive Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery at the hospital.

Infant and Child Health Services

Our hospital serves newborn infants, babies and children for health-related problems. The hospital has a Neonatal Intensive Care unit equipped with medical devices and 27 beds.

Warnings

Flower: No flower is allowed to patient rooms and floors in order to avoid risk of infection. Flowers are first accepted by our personnel and they are handed to you at discharge.

Visiting Hours: Visiting hours are 10.00 to 22.00 every day. Please do not accept children younger than 6 years of age considering potential health risks.

Accompaniment: The patients can only have one companion. The visitors who are in the patients’ rooms after 22.00 are accepted as companion.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas of our hospital.

Rooms

STANDARD ROOM
Acıbadem Atakent Hospital has 136 standard rooms designed to meet all needs of patients and family members. Our standard rooms are distinguished for wood tones and well-lit and practical design. Mini fridge, television, internet, personal safe, and newspaper services are available which meet all the basic needs of patients and family members. The rooms include a two-seater sofa for patients’ companions to rest, an information brochure to inform patients and companions about risk of fall, and metal grab bars and emergency pull cords in toilets and bathrooms to prevent falls.

DOUBLE ROOM
There are 24 double rooms at Acıbadem Atakent Hospital to meet the needs of patients and their companions. Our double rooms attract attentions through wood tones and well-lit and practical design. Our rooms are designed to meet basic needs of patients and their companions thoroughly, including; minibar, televisions and Bluetooth headset that can be synched up with the television for each patient, internet, two separate private safe, two clothing cabinets and newspaper service. The rooms include two seats for patients’ companions to rest, an information brochure to inform patients and companions about risk of fall, and metal grab bars and emergency pull cords in toilets and bathrooms to prevent falls.

SUITE Acıbadem Atakent Hospital has 4 suites designed to meet various needs of patients and family members. In addition to basic needs, suites are equipped with waiting rooms for companions and family members to rest. This room is equipped with two en suite bathrooms for the patient and the companion, nurse call buttons at bed side and lounge areas and metal rails and emergency pull cord against risk of fall at bathrooms and toilets. Numerous services are provided at suites such as minibar, television, private safe, newspaper service, etc.

Inpatients can use parking lot services free of charge (one car for each patient) at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Atakent Hospital.
Parking lot service is paid for other patients and guests.
