Acıbadem Maslak Hospital

Being put into service in 2009, Acıbadem Maslak Hospital increased the service area by 2.5 folds, after a new building (60 thousand m2) was added to the hospital within the scope of enlargement project that was finalized in 2018; Maslak Hospital that covers, now, an indoor area of 106.000 m2 has international JCI accreditation that certifies quality systems of healthcare organizations.

Acıbadem Maslak Hospital has LEED Gold Certificate. LEED certification was started in 1998, which is environment-friendly building certification system developed by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

There are 231 patient rooms in Acıbadem Maslak Hospital. Acıbadem Maslak Hospital has 20 general surgery operating theatres, 3 IVF procedure theatres and 51 intensive care beds.

Departments of Acıbadem Maslak Hospital include, but are not limited to, Oncology Unit, Breast Health Unit, Senology Institute, IVF Center, Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics Clinic and Robot-assisted Surgery Unit.

Acıbadem Maslak Hospital

Rendering services in all departments of medicine, Acıbadem Maslak Hospital offers diagnosis and treatment services also in field of cancer through the radiotherapy devices. Starting admission of patients in 2009, Acıbadem Maslak has reached the capacity of 288 beds in an indoor area of 106.000 m2 and it is, now, the largest hospital of Acıbadem within the scope of enlargement project completed in 2018.

Health Point Center for International Patients

A center is established in Acıbadem MAslak Hospital for international patients, who present for diagnostic and treatment services. All treatment and diagnostic procedures of international patients are followed up at Health Point Center.

Services

Oncology Unit; Oncology unit uses medical devices and multidisciplinary approach in fields of medical oncology, radiation oncology and oncologic surgery in collaboration with neurology, molecular oncology and pathology departments. Devices and methods to support diagnosis and treatment exist, e.g. Truebeam, Da Vinci, Whole Body MRI, Rapid Arc, Intraoperative Radiotherapy, etc.

Chemotherapy Rooms

There are totally 75 chemotherapy rooms in the Chemotherapy Unit. Oncology Star Unit consists of 19 standard rooms, 4 observation beds and 7 inpatient clinics; while Oncology Sun Department contains 43 standard, 3 inpatient and 10 pediatric rooms.

Breast Health and Diseases Unit

Medical devices are used and multidisciplinary approach is adopted at Breast Health and Diseases Unit for diagnosis and treatment of relevant diseases. Breast Tumor Committee decides the best treatment option after diagnosis and treatment data of each patient is reviewed by the committee. Lymphedema Unit works in coordination with Breast Health Unit. Lymphedema school is founded to educate patients at Lymphedema Unit.

Gynecology and Obstetrics

Gynecology and Obstetrics Department uses 2 delivery rooms and renovated delivery rooms to serve patients.

Intensive Care Services

There are 51 patient beds at Intensive Care Unit.

Mother’s Room at Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit contains 13 incubators, 1 isolation room as well as 2 Mother’s Rooms (for the first time in Türkiye) where mother can stay with their babies.

Pediatrics Clinic

There are pediatrics inpatient clinic, children waiting rooms, entrances reserved for children, pediatric emergency medicine as well as education and activity areas for children in Pediatrics Clinic. Hygiene is a priority in areas reserved for children. Furniture and door knobs are antibacterial in this area.

Perinatology Unit

Perinatology Unit of Acıbadem Maslak Hospital serves high-risk pregnancies with healthcare professionals, medical devices and multidisciplinary infrastructure.

Robotic Surgery

Acıbadem Maslak Hospital treats various diseases and disorders with robot-assisted surgery. Robot-assisted surgery is performed for urologic diseases (prostate cancer, kidney tumor, benign hyperplasia of prostate, urinary bladder tumor, stenotic urinary tracts), Cardiovascular Surgery, General Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics as well as Gynecologic Oncology.

In Vitro Fertilization Center

IVF center of Acıbadem Maslak Hospital admits couples who wish to conceive.

Robot-assisted Services: ROBBIE

Mobile robots (ROBBIE) are used for the first time in healthcare sector at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital to transport materials/equipment and deliver food in the hospital.

Baby-Friendly Hospital

A holistic approach is adopted to meet all needs of infants and mothers at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital. Labor Coaching and Lactation Counselling are provided to meet physical and psychological needs of the baby and the mother at the hospital.

Anti-bacterial Furniture and Door Handles

Hygiene is attached great importance in Pediatrics Clinic. Anti-bacterial and self-disinfecting materials are used in furniture and door handles in areas reserved for children.

Activity Areas

Social activities are organized for providing patients and family members with emotional support in the activity areas at Gynecology and Obstetrics (Meşe/Oak), Pediatrics (Ardıç/Juniper) and Oncology (Çınar/Plane Tree and Çam/Pine) Clinics of Acıbadem Maslak Hospital.

Warnings

Flower: No flower is allowed to patient rooms and floors in order to avoid risk of infection. Flowers are first accepted by our personnel and they are handed to you at discharge.

Visiting Hours: Visiting hours are 10.00 to 22.00 every day. Please do not accept children younger than 6 years of age considering potential health risks.

Accompaniment: The patients can only have one companion. The visitors who are in the patients’ rooms after 22.00 are accepted as companion.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas of our hospital.

Rooms

STANDARTD ROOM There are 221 standard rooms at our hospital. Mini fridge, television, internet, personal safe, and newspaper services are available in patient rooms which meet all the basic needs of patients and family members. There is one two-seater sofa in each room to help family members rest.

TYPE A SUITE Type A suites include a patient room and a separate room for their visitors. All basic and luxury items such as American style kitchen, microwave and fridge are at your services, while two en suite bathrooms provide extra comfort.

TYPE B SUITE 16 Type B suites have two sections in each room. In addition to meeting basic needs, Type B suites have a waiting room where patients' companions can rest. There are two bathrooms in each room, one for the patient and one for the companion.

KING SUITE The rooms consist of three parts: patient room, a double-bed room for patients' companions and a living area; all basic and luxury elements such as American style kitchen, microwave and fridge, are available along with two bathrooms in King Suite that is designed as an apartment flat.
