21th hospital of Acıbadem Healthcare Group opened its doors in Altunizade, in March of 2017. Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital comprises many full-featured units along with the technical infrastructure, medical technology, professional healthcare personnel in all branches and multidisciplinary approach.

Many specialized units from Oncology Unit to Neurosurgery Unit, from Cell Therapy Unit to Robotic Surgery Unit are located in the hospital. 

Indoor Area of 98, 000 m2

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital renders services in an indoor area of 98 thousand square meters with capacity of 350 beds, 18 operating theatres, 75 intensive care unit beds and parking lot with capacity of 550 vehicles.

Examination, Diagnosis and Treatment Units Are On the Same Floor

With a special hospital architecture highlighting the patient comfort, in Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, time is saved by minimizing the walks between units for the patients. Examination, diagnosis and treatment are planned and practiced in many featured units and outpatient clinics including Breast Health Unit, Ophthalmology Unit, Spinal Health Unit, Neurologic Sciences Unit, Neuro-radiosurgery Unit, Oral and Dental Health Unit. Thus, patients receive services comfortably in a short time.

Advanced Oncology Unit

A special Oncology Unit designed to meet all medical and social needs of the patient is located in the hospital. In addition to multidisciplinary clinical approach of all professional fields (Surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology) related to the subject, cutting-edge technology is also utilized in the unit. Device park of Oncology Unit includes Tomotherapy that can enable treatment along with imaging by rotating 360 degrees around the patient’s body, Trubeam, Vitalbeam and Gamma Knife Icon for treatment of all body tumors. PET CT and Spect CT devices are also utilized in the unit.

Triple Hybrid Operating Theatre System

Hybrid operating theatre system which includes three different diagnostic units (3 Tesla MRI, 128-slice Sliding CT, Robotic Arm Angiography) at the same time and enables operations connected to three operating theatres simultaneously is available. Thanks to this structure, images are obtained and surgical therapy is directed accordingly in Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Orthopedics and ENT (Maxillofacial surgery) operations. Moreover, operations are also conducted with robotic surgery technology - da Vinci.

Sanitizing Door Handles

Door handles of patient rooms impact the enzymes of microbes that can spread from hands and they are self-disinfecting, which are produced with a special alloy.

Intensive Care Services

Providing services with capacity of 75 beds, intensive care units are classified as Neonatal (23), Pediatric (14), Coronary (8), CVS (7) and General Intensive Care Unit (23).

The intensive care units have separate areas for waiting, consulting and resting for patients’ relatives and a Training Hall for Mothers where the mothers are informed is also available.

Special Pediatric Clinic

With the concept of “baby-friendly hospital”, Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital renders services with its concept developed specifically for every age groups, its architecture and specialist staff. The clinic has separate waiting areas for healthy and diseased children, which is kept separated from entrance doors and other entrances. Otorhinolaryngology Outpatient Clinic and Pediatric Dental Health clinic have also been designed in the clinic strengthened with all sub-branch specialties and services are rendered separately for children in Emergency Service and Chemotherapy Unit.

Multi-functional Emergency Service 

All services in Emergency Service of Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital are organized to meet all needs of emergency intervention with air and ground ambulances and emergency interventions at outpatient settings. In addition to decontamination, resuscitation, emergency intervention and radiologic imaging and observation rooms, the Emergency Service also includes an operating theatre for emergency conditions. Emergency Service Department has 13 adult, 5 pediatric and 2 isolation rooms as well as 32 beds 20 of which are for observation.

Health Point for International Patients

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital has a special part designed for international patients coming from different countries to receive diagnostic and therapeutic services. This region is called “Health Point” and renders services in 16 languages. It gives the international patients the comfort of their homes in all processes in the hospital.

Trigeneration System

Trigeneration enables energy production by three energy systems (electricity, heating and cooling) together from the same energy source. This system boosts the energy efficiency comparing to conventional systems and it is economically advantageous. In Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, first electric power is produced with natural gas and then the heat exposed during production of electricity is used for heating and cooling.

LEED Gold Certified, Green Hospital 

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital has been awarded with LEED Gold certificate, called “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design" certificate and deemed as green building. Therefore, a hospital that uses energy and water efficiently, is careful about using natural sources and does not harm the environment comes forward.

Warnings

Flower:   No flower is allowed to patient rooms and floors in order to avoid risk of infection. Flowers are first accepted by our personnel and they are handed to you at discharge.

Visiting Hours: Visiting hours are 10.00 to 22.00 every day. Please do not accept children younger than 6 years of age considering potential health risks. 

Accompaniment: The patients can only have one companion. The visitors who are in the patients’ rooms after 22.00 are accepted as companion. 

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas of our hospital.

The room has been designed as an apartment consisting of three parts including a double bed room and a living place. It includes an American style kitchen, every kind of basic and luxury materials such as microwave, fridge that can be needed and two bathrooms.

      SUITEThere are 18 suite rooms in Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, which consists of two areas. In addition to meeting basic needs, suite rooms include a waiting room where patients' relatives can rest. There are two bathrooms specific for the patient and the companion in the rooms. Many services from mini-bar to television, from personal safe to newspaper service are rendered in these roomsr.

      STANDARD ROOM
      The hospital has 341 Standard rooms designed to meet the needs of patients and relatives. Mini-bar, television, internet, personal safe, newspaper services are provided in patient rooms which meet all the basic needs of patients and relatives. There is also a two-seater sofa in the rooms for patients‘ relatives to rest.
